This AWAKEwax website is the creative portal of and to various works of pmc aka p.m.cheevers. Collage practices across the mediums of oil encaustic painting, audio recording/broadcasting and leaded glass are the *trinity* of his primary disciplines, along with copious elements of the alphabet lined up on page and screen. The physical object, mindfulness of body and above all, the Eight Fold Path are major thematic threads running through and out of Paul’s *Ahrt!*-work. Also, he’ll talk your earhead off about the Dhamma, if and only if you really give a hoot— post-punk!

As the founder-remaining, of South Shore Insight Meditation Center (SSIMC) in Plymouth MA, Paul teaches Vipassana and Zen practices within the context of the Eightfold Path, around the South Shore of MA, occasionally far afield and of course when necessary online, in the evolving *metta-verse*!
Paul was born and grew up wicked catholic in Boston/Cambridge and later lived in Manhattan, Jersey City and Ann Arbor, MI. Ireland is from where his parents emigrated, he returns to Eire frequently. He practiced pivotally, meditation and yoga intensively on self-retreat in and around India, living there for a couple-plus months, many years ago after decades of training, practice and work in the US. He resides on the South Shore of MA with spouse extraordinaire, animals, flora, and minerals.
