The Stripmining by PmC & the Fair Use Assembly
12” Heavy weight eco colored (jade green marble) 33rpm LP. Just 300 odd copies of this complete vinyl-only October 31, 2025 release. Paper and mylar inner sleeve with beautiful matte cover, signed and numbered. Each copy includes glassine envelope insert of a piece of the Treasure Plastic Gargabe Museum, suitable for losing. Some number of the 300 odd will randomly include a mini encaustic with the Treasure Plastic, from PmC (it’s like the golden ticket however no chocolate nor factory tour included)).
Question: What Does this vinyl sound like, I don’t see a streamable link or like here on the web.
Answer: Sorry about the link it will show up once subvert.fm goes live. For now this description will have to do, it sounds like: Heavy Audio Collage. Noisy and tranquil. Dense and spacious. Quantum and not. If Negativland met Brian Eno and his A.I. toting transistor protege beamed in by Thoth or Selene or a cow, they wouldn't stand for this. They would sit and listen and wonder and then wake up and have a cup of green tea, maybe a side of raspberry shortcake before lifting the needle from the locked groove.
Sorry but currently shipping only to US media mailable locations.
